Favorite General Conference Quotes | April 2017 - FREE PRINTABLES

Finally getting around to sharing all of my FAVORITE #LDSconf quotes!

General Conference is always such an anticipated time for me. Listening to the prophets and apostles speak is both inspiring and uplifting. I like to prepare myself by thinking of a question or things that are currently happening in my life that are stressing me out. So of course this time around I had our real estate adventure on the brain! Throughout all of the sessions, I felt so touched by everything I heard. The spirit is so incredible! It can tell each of us something completely unique while we're listening to the same words. I'm so grateful for that! I definitely received the inspiration that I needed.

You can watch or read any session of LDS conference on LDS.org

I hope you enjoy these printables of my favorite quotes from conference! What were your favorites? Make sure to comment them at the bottom of this post! Love you guys!

The New Face of ADOS
A Dash of Salter || Minimal Brand || Board, peach, olive, gray, hexagon, Lato, Scallion, design, color scheme

This blog got a remodel a couple weeks ago, but I am just getting to post about it due to the busyness and excitement of the holidays. Or at least that's my excuse.

If you know me personally, than you know I like to switch things up, a lot. Well, the blog is not any different. This change was actually inspired by an outfit I put together one day because I was behind on laundry. A peach shirt and olive skinnies. I loved the combo so much it had me thinking about rebranding my blog. There have been several changes I've been wanting to make for a while now, but this time I finally pulled the trigger.

My main logo got an even more minimal face lift, and the home page got a makeover as well. I've been wanting to add excerpts for some time now and love that this new template gives that option. Squarespace makes it so easy to completely customize your website. It's definitely been worth the investment for me, because I love designing and creating. Being able to design my own website puts a little more of my heart into this small corner of the internet that I occasionally document our life in.

I'm trying to write down things that I want to blog about. Especially when it comes to my family. There are a few experiences I've had this week that I want to document on here. The kind of moments a mother always wants to remember. I've come to realize how much more I enjoy a moment when I'm not distracted. When my devices are down, to do lists are set aside and I'm ALL in. Lately I've been trying to be more present. And I'm so proud that I'm doing better at it.

I want to focus more on the things that matter. I want to document more of that meaningful stuff here, along with all of the fluffy fun stuff that I'm passionate about. If you read my blog, I want you to know that I appreciate you. I hope you feel something when you visit my site. That it makes you smile. That you feel uplifted. Or maybe just realize you're not alone in the struggles you face. I document these things as a journal of my life, but I share them because I believe that sharing experiences can touch others who may be in similar circumstances.

Thank you for being a part of that.

Favorite General Conference Quotes || October 2016 FREE PRINTABLES

I'm finally back to share my favorite general conference quotes from the October General Conference! I really struggled to narrow it down, so I'm sharing more than I did last time! I find so much joy in reflecting on the words of conference while creating these printables. I've also been touched by the many people who have reached out to me in gratitude for the printables I made after the last general conference in April.

It's amazing how even a little thing like this can be an influence for good. I love that the gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel of sharing goodness. To love and uplift everyone we come in contact with. To be a light and an influence for the good that is in this world.

Today I had the opportunity to sing at a sacrament meeting held in a independent living retirement home, and it was such a special experience. To see in their eyes that the gospel is true in every stage of life. The peace I felt among them is indescribable. Their smiling faces looking at me as I sang about our loving Savior touched my spirit so deeply. I often feel that my talents are insignificant, but moments like that help me realize what a blessing those talents truly are. Especially in my own spiritual progression.

It's so easy to the talents of others and compare ourselves to them. I'm challenging myself, and all of you, to pray for the realization of your own talents. I pray that I'll have more opportunities to use my talents for the benefit of all, that I can be an influence for good. I hope we can all do the same. To lift instead of criticize. To love instead of judge. Just as He did.

Custom Moon Prints from Breezy & Co.
Custom Prints from Breezy + Co. || Moon & Back, Dream Big, Moon Prints, Nursery, Space Theme

This post is extremely over due, because I received these custom prints from Breezy & Co before Grey was born andddd now he's six months old. Sorry, Bri! When I told her what I wanted in my nursery she started designing me these pieces and kept me in the loop throughout the design process. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! You can buy these same prints in her shop, here and here

Breezy & Co doesn't only do custom prints though. She does blog design and other graphic design projects as well! She has so many great reviews from her previous clients, and I am just as satisfied with the work she did for me! If you're looking for a fresh look in your home or on your blog, she is your girl! You can contact her here. Scroll down to see the hidden treasure I found in the package she sent me...

How cute is this extra print she included in my package to pay it forward? It made me SO happy to turn around and share this sweet print with someone else. There's nothing quite like the feeling you get when you uplift and serve others. So just go check out Breezy & Co. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Favorite Women's Conference Quotes || Free Printables

I've been working on these printables of quotes from the General Women's Conference and wanted to share my favorites. I was so touched by the things these wonderful women shared during the conference. Their thoughtful words inspired me and helped me feel more gratitude for my role as a wife, mother, and daughter of God in serving those around me. I'm grateful to be a part of a church that values woman and the attributes that we carry.

You can watch the talks here and watch the last session of conference with me live at LDS.org.
