In October, we had the opportunity to get some family photos done by Amy Hirschi. We actually grew up in the same neighborhood, but she's a grade younger than me so we never really hung out. I'm so glad we're friends now, though! She is seriously such a cool chick.  She is so funny and super down to earth!

It's nice to have a photographer that you can laugh with, especially when your husband is constantly joking around. Her talent as a photographer has grown exponentially, and I am so impressed with her work! Check our her InstagramFacebook, and Blog to see for yourself! If you live in the Ogden/SLC, Utah area you definitely want to book a session with her ASAP. You won't regret it.

When I downloaded the photos, I was so happy with all of the moments Amy captured of our little family.  It's really important to me to remember each stage of our lives together.  Being new parents has rocked our world! Raising a child will test and try you in ways you didn't know were possible. It can also bring you the most happiness you have ever known.

I didn't understand the joy and satisfaction that comes from parenting until I experienced it myself.  Every small milestone feels like a triumph! Not to mention, we laugh at every silly little thing he does.  He was so intrigued with the sand during our whole shoot.  He's actually eating it in some of our photos too. I can't get over the cuteness!  I'm so happy with how they turned out, I can't emphasize that enough. I'm in LOVE - LOVE - LOVE!

I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from our morning with Amy!
