Maskcara Cosmetics: IIID Foundation Review
Okay, so I've been ranting and raving about this stuff since the day I opened it. However, I wanted to wait a good amount of time before giving this product a proper and honest review. When I tried out this makeup for the first time I didn't really have a concept of how much product to use. I was used to using so much liquid foundation and layering it to get the contour I wanted. I started to realize I could get amazing coverage using way less makeup.
I start with a primer/tinted moisturizer since it's winter and I have super dry skin. I fill in my brows and then I use makeup brushes to apply minimal amounts of the IIID Foundation to my face, starting with the contouring (a mixture of Stone and Shadow) and ending with highlighting (Sunlit). I use the liquid blush (Gem) on the apple of my cheeks and my lips. I finish with Illuminator (Pearl) on the tops of my cheekbones, brow bones, inner corners of my eyes, cupids bow, and chin. After I am basically GLOWING from this product, I apply a translucent setting powder with a fluffy kabuki brush to my whole face, followed by a dusting of bronzer along my contour work and lids. I line my eyes with the same powder used to fill my brows, curl my lashes, and apply mascara.
BAM! I'm done!
This routine takes me only 10 minutes! I cannot believe how much time this product has shaved off of my regular routine. Not only that, I don't find myself reapplying it later in the day. It looks natural and stays ALL DAY LONG. It hides all of my blemishes, dark spots caused by hormones, and dark circles from the lack of sleep in my third trimester. My skin has never looked better. I'm hooked for life!
